I applied for passport in 2010 feb but it was rejected in police enquiry as I had been staying in that address for less than a year. Will it be a problem if I apply again? also, I have voter id and bank account with a residential address. the problem is we have given that house for rent and are not staying there currently. So, I can`t probably go ahead through the 3 proofs. Is VC in lieu of police verification. If that is the case, will it do if I get a VC stating that I am residing in that address for a year?
