Thanks fo this tip! MS software is not very intuitive. You would think that permission settings to receive files via Bluetooth would be under “Bluetooth”, but they stick it under the cryptic “Beam.” Hell, I though that was associated with IR transmission. I still like Palm.

hi, i just purchased an asus p565 and find that while i can receive files via bluetooth from my pc – i can’t send files from my mobile to the pc- i checked and it seems the only service provided is dial-up networking and no obex. any idea how to resolve this? thanks.

I have a Pioneer avic x1bt satnav that worked happily with my previous phone but now I have a samsung omnia (Win Mobile) and the bluetooth appears to be incompatible. Any suggestions?
