I, Sunil Kumar Shukla s/o sh Parkash Chand Shukla own the Property No C-41, First Floor, Front Right Portion, Block-C, Pocket Pankha Road, Jeevan Park, Uttam Nagar, New Delhi-110059 2I have paid for the property tax by Cheque for Rs 683.00 along with Challan Forms were deposited in AXIS Bank, Janak Puri, New Delhi-110058 against. PropertyId No. 010004707200 (07089510000251425) for the year 2009-10 for which Duly Stamped Tax Payer Copy of ChallanForm was recd by me. 3. I failed to generate Receipt on the Website "http://www.mcdpropertytax.in/offPropSrch.php". the Message Returned was that "Receipt not available" Now, I feel harassed for paying Property Tax through Challan Form. Pl. help me. and send the receipt by post or generate on your web. PropertyTaxReceipt for PropertyId No. 010004707200 (07089510000251425), year 2009-10/ Paid through ChallanForm.

In the case of Munirka DDA Flats of 1974(self occupied, first floor with area of 87 sq m): Annual Tax assessed and paid upto 2003-04 = Rs. 400 Under Unit Area Method Tax Payable = 40x87x0.7x0.9 =Rs. 2192.4 Rebate (Sr. citizen) 30% of Rs.2192.4 = 657.7 Net Tax payable … Rs. 1534.7 Capped at Rs.400x(1 + 2.5) = Rs. 1400 Tax due for 2009-10: Rs.1400 - 210 (15% rebate for early payment) = Rs.1190 and not Rs.1534.7 x 0.85 = Rs.1304 as being shown on computer generated challan for payment. Software used does not seem to take cognizance of MCD's helping hand. But trust me prepaid cash cards provide a hassle free experience. I started buying tickets from IRCTC through ItzCash Card and then paid my mobile bills through the same. My experience was good as I knew how much my pocket (card) size is. It helped to keep my budget under control. Post undertaking various transactions, which were successful i started paying property tax through itzcash card.
