My Order No. 902491949 – Ordered Placed on February 23, 2011 – Not yet Delivered

My name is Kanika Mathur and I am a residence of New Delhi. I was suggested by my relatives that HomeShop18 sells good products at much cheaper rates than any other company. Upon thei comfirmation, i decided to try and buy product from them and ordered a jewellery set worth Rs. 3000.00 through online net banking and paid through my card. I was assured on the website that my packet would get delivered within 7 working days. I waited untill next week and called them on th 8th day and i ws told by a lady that it takes 7 “working days”. I understood that and didnt say anything then. Again i called up at the sme toll free no. 18001800918 to ask if it has sent out for delivery and if i can get any AWB no. so that i can track it and pick it frm the courier company as i urgently needed it for some family function. I was again told by some telecaller that “maam its out for delivery, i dnt have AWB updated, it will beupdate by this evening and anyways it will be delivered to u by friday or at max by saturday”. I reconfirmed with that gentlemen if it can be delivered on saturday as normally courier company doesnt do that as per my knowledge and he said yes it will be dilvered, dnt worry. i ws still ok with this.

But on friday evening, I again called up same toll free no. to ask if it has been delivered or if they can get me some AWB# so that i myself can walkin to get the things for which i have padi hard earned money. But on the 1st call, i ws told that 3e dnt have AWB No.+ my packet witl be delivered by Tuesday (i.e 8th March) + they put my call on hold for 20 minutes and that person had no ettiquetes to get back to the customer and tell that it will take some more time. At the end, i myself had to disconnect the call and call back again.

Then on the 2nd call, while telling the issue, a person name Rajkumar abrutely sad to me “I am disconnecting your call” and put the phone on my face. Then i tried the 3rd time and i ws conneceted to Ashish and he trasnfered my call to his supervisor, Anil who said that he cant make out why there is a delay in delivery and they will not be able to deliver the packet before Tuesday, All they can give is the AWB# and that too in next 24-48 hours.

I am totally dissatisfied and unhappy with the kind of behaviour not one but 3 telecallers have shown towards my approach for my own things. I give a thump down to the company and to their workers. They are just fooling around people by making false promises. Dont knw about the quality of products they sell bt the service really pathetic. All i could hear from them is “consignment has been handed over to the Courier”. This is the position for the last 15 days.

I want strict action to be taken against the company and the employees who were rude to me and misbehaved over the call. They should be given proper tarining in terms of giving service to their customers.

I feel like a fool, chasing the company for my own things. Need urgent help on this.

I also want to get my money refunded of Rs. 3000 if i get my paket delivered after 6th March + i want company to pay me R. 2000 more for the loss i will be paying by getting the same product from market at much greater price on urgent basis.

I was thinking i will order something from TV 18 after watching there programs.

Now i will say big no for it.

Thank you all for sharing this knowledge and awareness. Still i am worried for so many others who don’t have internet access but watch TV where these cunning sales people are targeting real middle class people.

I don’t understand why don’t electronic media or print media takes this issue up.

this company appears to be fraud company. Recently i was about to order an Spice MI300 mobile phone. their website showed the price as Rs 12,950/-. i was then told by my friend that the actual cost is Rs 9990/- offered by the spice company itself. i have indeed purchased one from spice outlet for rs 9990/-. else i would have ended spending 3050/- on this fraud company

Same problem happen in my case too… i ordered 6-8 product in this year, in this 3 products are found damaged while shipment, but then after i am not going to replace any of that projects. But last i purchased 104 pcs Drilled machine, its bag & some accessories are damaged, i am going to replace but same problem happen, last 26th Oct-2010 i shipped to Delhi through TNT couries, then i called today(2nd Nov-2010) but they told me still we dint received it… this is the service which they are giving….:)
