Well its never good news for all the commercial interests in cricket when India fails to move ahead, means a loss of billions of rupees. So SET MAX is really working hard to keep their spirits up and profits too hopefully.

If you read the Delhi Times you would have noticed after India crashed out of the ICC Cricket World Cup, they started to advertise more with paid articles, with Mandira Bedi claiming that the WC was still interesting. Wow, Australia take on Bangladesh, its going to be a thriller and a must watch for us Indian fans, LOL.

Well what has happened has happened, so many companies like LG, Videocon ITC Sunfeast etc. who had bet high on this world cup ,  with India’s dismal display, are demanding a reduction in the exhorbant prices set earlier, such a reduction would set a serious precedent in Indian advertising making ad slots more third-party performance oriented.

Moreover with West Indies too crashing out, the World Cup is an official fiasco, the interest of the host nation is of prime importance , and with them no longer in the contention, Stadiums are going to be empty too.
