For the poor soul who searched for Airtel Live GPRS settings and landed here, you will first need to get Airtel Live activated by calling your customer care.
Internet Settings:
- Connection Name: Airtel Live!
- Data Bearer: GPRS
- Access Point Name: airtelfun.com
- Username: MSISDN e.g. 9198xxx xxxxx
- Prompt Password: No
- Password: < blank >
- Homepage: http://live.airtel.in
- Connection Security: Off
- Session Mode: Permanent
In case of the WAP 2.0 complaint phones, the following extra settings need to be done:
Under Options > Advanced Settings
- Phone IP Address: Automatic
- Primary name server: 0.0.0.0
- Second. Name server: 0.0.0.0
- Proxy server. address: 100.1.200.99
- Proxy port number: 8080

I had a GPRS settings problem with Imate, i chatted with them, within 5 minutes he gave me the settings for my model of phone , i dont remember the exact settings for my Imate Windows mobile.

guys, if you are having problems accessing AIRTEL LIVE and unable get its settings try this, it works for me:
1. send this in SMS to 121. You will receive something like this <AIRTEL LIVE will be activated in the next 48 hrs.
2.send in this SMS to 52567. you will receive settings from Airtel and save the settings.

i hav tried to active MMS but from 121 and after saving settings also i cant able to send or receive MMS
even though i hav tried from 52567 MMS but it says its not activated in ur mobile contact to customer care, wats the reason.
Customer care people never lift the phone they will be busy always.

It is so frustrating to come to know that inspite of repeated request to arrange for
setting up of wap/gprs & mms settings for my nokia 3500c with service provid
ed by AIRTEL LIVE to various sources who could sort it out instantly at ease,
yet so disheartening exprience as a subscriber to India’s premiere communica-
tion service provider Airtel who, on the other hand cared less and indifferent shown towards all my
request for assistence that I had submitted from time to time with even hope
that I’ d at least get a call amongst numerious request forwarded to u in times. Y ?

I am using Sony Ericsson-W800i, my handset can acess internate well by using AIirtel’s Mobile Office and the Airtel’s service is so good as compare to those other in this North East INDIA. But my problem is, I can not open AIirtel live portal whenever I try to acess Airtel Live portel by using mobile office satting or Airtel Live satting, think my sattings are not wrong, please solve my problem I also contated to the CC executive so many times.

I am from Lilong, Manipur, I have been using this airtel sim only for internate since last 3/4 months, i can access any page well by using MO satting, but i can not access by using Airtel Live satting, i had used internate by using AL satting 8/9 back in this same handset (sony ericsson-W800i) but now it can’t be open, even I got the sattings from the network, how is so ? i love to access AL, so please help me to access as i did in past, reply p!

i want to enjoy the mms service prvided by Airtel, but i still can’t get the mms satting even i talked to cce 2/3 days back, i think i would have got the satting much earlier as the cce gave me the assurance to send me the satting. I HAVE SUBSCRIBED TO AIRTEL GRPS BUT UNFORTUNATELY,
NO ONE HAS BEEN ABLE TO ASSIST ME AS TO HOW TO GO ABOUT THE POSITIONING SYSTEM/ MAP.
THE CUSTOMER CARE/ CALL CENTER HS NO CLUE WHATSOEVER.
ONE OF THEM EVEN WENT TO THE EXTENT TO SAY THE GPRS IS NOT IN SERVICE???
HOWEVER, THE SAME IS WORKING VERY WELL WITH VODAPHONE??

Sir,
1. I am holding Nokia 5300 Hand set.
2. Nokia 5300 has been recharged with mobile office cared worth Rs. 450/-.
2. Due to some technical fault the same has been submitted to Nokia reparing agency in allahabad city for rectification.
3. Required necessary setting either it may be GPRS, Moblie Office settings or any other setting required for smooth functioning of Nokia 5300 may please be delivered on Nokia 5300.
4. I have tried to interact with customer care engineer by dialing 121, whereas i could not make any contact as there was no option.
5. Please intimate the correct telephone number to establish the contact with customer care engineer as nad when required.

I am using SAMSUNG s5603 STAR 3G mobile phone. when I use airtel live then it opens it sometime & sometimes not. it says request timed out. whenever i tried to see video from this it shows connection to the server has timed out. How can i see videos from it. Also, without opening the page it charges a lot & shows that only 60 paise or rs. 1.20 is charged but in real when i see my account balance there are about 15-20 rupees charged. plz. help me.

airtel live and mobile office r two different things
Airtel live is for fun and mobile office for high speed access although both are internet so call… But better to go for Mobile Office settings
now to get settigs for MO you need to send sms
By typing MO in Cap lettrs to 54321
within a few seconds u will b infrmed for activation
And den settings which you need to save as default in your device..
Note: brands mob are enable for this setting e.g NOKIA,SAMSUNG,LG SONY etc..
Sometimes u may asked for IMEI no.
Or you can go for MANUAL SETTINGS FOR that you need to ask customer care executive…
After manual settings switch off your mobile take out sim for while and switch on and happy browsing.

I did not have any connection but after a long time speaking to customer care i finally got a manual setting any way i carried on with this and soon i was being abl access the internet a long i wanted with an price of RS 0.00 in my account.this was perhaps great wish i could get this service more better and efficient way
